We were asked if there was a way to have window shoppers see themselves in the product. The product being Nike's latest AW77 hoodie sweatshirts. This is what we came up with. Custom mannequin with LCD monitors in place of a face. We used software that uses facial recognition and "grabs" a face in the crowd. It freezes the Shoppers image on the screen, and allows the shopper to see themselves in said product. This created a tremendous interactive phenomenon. Aside from the fun use of technology, our Nike client, the general public, and admittedly ourselves, spent a lot of time playing with it.
